What’s On My Netflix

I’ve decided to blog about my Netflix Queue. I love Netflix, but Jace loves it more. Everyone who knows us personally probably knows why. Anyway, I regularly receive 7 DVDs from my (our–Yes  Jace I am acknowledging you co-own the account. LOL) Netflix account. Actually, we get 8 DVDs at a time, 7 comes from my choices, and only 1 for Jace. (haha) Jace has his own Netflix queue and I have my own on our Netflix account. His queue is filled with all the stuff I hate. We use to share just one queue but I’ve been adding so much on it, 500 movies isn’t enough. Not only that, he sometime refuses to return DVDs even after watching them a billion times. He wants to watch his anime over and over and over again.

This weekend I received six DVDs from Netflix. These movies were:

Hot Tub Time Machine – I did not like it. I thought it was stupid and I ended up playing Plants vs Zombies for the most part. Jace, on the other hand, liked how awesomely terrible the movie was. *rolling eyes*

Daybreakers – This one was about vampires, vampire cures and the almost extinct human population. Now I “kinda liked” this one. I would rate it as 7/10. Ethan Hawke was cute, but the sun and feeding off on former vampires was the cure?! seriously?

Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief -Maybe if I was around 7 to 8 years old,  I would have enjoyed this movie a little bit more. It was okay, I guess. Definitely something to watch with your kids. However, I do like that if I was a little girl, I’d learn a thing or two  about Greek mythology.

The Book of Eli -This one I liked even though I was busy shopping online for the most part. I liked the ending a lot. Jace liked it too.

Pan’s Labyrinth -This one I rented by mistake. I was all “hey let me add Pan’s Labyrinth to lighten up my movie weekend with a  film I enjoyed when I was a kid.” LMAO Pan’s Labyrinth is NOT a kid’s film. Yes, there were fairies and other mystical creatures on the film, but this is far from the feel good movie I thought I was going to get.  What I wanted to rent was Labyrinth, not Pan’s Labyrinth. But overall, I liked the movie. But it’s weird.

Legion -This one, I haven’t seen yet. Will do an update once I do.

I’m receiving Knocked Up on Monday. Other movies I’ve rented recently: True Blood Season 2 (awesome!! even Jace liked it!), Leap year, When In Rome, Sherlock Holmes and The Wolfman (2010) (The storyline isn’t exactly like the old version of the film).

Jace has been holding on to since April is Lupin the 3rd:Vol 6. I seriously have no idea why he wants to watch this over and over again. I am sick of watching it.

That’s all folks! Off to play Plants vs Zombies survival endless! yeah! ~xoxo Therese
