How to NOT Market Effectively on Facebook
I cannot be more annoyed when each time I check my Facebook inbox, I get a bunch of SPAM. This makes me avoid checking my Facebook mail altogether, which is unfair to those who do send me real messages.
So here’s how to NOT market effectively on Facebook:
- Spam everyone on your Facebook friends list.
- Spam them often, like 5 times or more a day sounds great.
- Make your messages extremely lengthy, let’s say around 4-5 paragraphs. Each paragraph should consist of 5 sentences.
- Bore them with your messages.
- Don’t use spell check at all. Who cares about the typos? You’re just keeping it real, right?
- Don’t add any link to your message. Why make it easy for people to find you?
- Make sure you talk about something that you have no authority on. i.e. How to be a MILLIONAIRE (but you aren’t one).
- Market to those who are miles and miles away, even continents away, people you’re sure wouldn’t be able to make it to your venue.
- Always be extra annoying on your messages. Make sure you’re extra pushy.
- Make sure that when people see your name, they immediately click the REPORT SPAM button.
